Here you will find helpful information on electronics specifically related to the electric guitar, for electronics technicians and hobbyists who work on guitars, along with other useful information not usually found in guitar design, build, and servicing sources. Topics include basic electronics, passive and active on-board guitar circuits, effects device circuits, amplifier theory, solid-state amplifier design, tube-amp design, and speaker-cabinet design. About Kurtus Richter
I am a retired Industrial Engineer who has also spent over 50 years playing and working on guitars, having played in nightclubs in three states, and also studying electronics both for my day-jobs and for personal interest in the electronics associated with the electric guitar.
I taught guitar in a community college, creating my own lesson plans which I later turned into a book, Instructions for Guitar, now available free online at
https:// hkurtrichter5.wixsite.com/guitar-lessons.
And over the years I collected data and electronics circuits for the guitar, and information related to technical aspects of the electric guitar, such as how to design pickups, on-board wiring, and many circuits for effects devices and amplifiers; finally writing this book Electric Guitar Data and Analog Circuit Collection.
